Build the next generation of tech leaders.
At #YesWeCode, we share your passion for Diversity and Inclusion and training the next generation of tech leaders. We understand that each company is unique, and we’re here to help you identify and recruit the best diverse talent for your company, and retain them.
#YesWeCode Labs is an opportunity for #YesWeCode Coding Corps members to receive tutoring and mentorship from professional engineers from supporting companies. The goal is for Coding Corps members and industry professionals to work together and build relationships in a low-pressure supportive learning environment.
Career Readiness Workshops
Support our students in their career transition by hosting career readiness workshops at your offices. These workshops offer our students insight into the hiring practice in the tech sector through mock technical interviews, resume and career navigation sessions, and much more.
The Advisory Council is comprised of employers and tech-professionals who provide advice on the current and future needs of the tech sector to help us develop and refine our training curriculum. Join today to offer your insights to help shape the next generation.
Workplace Giving Campaign
The success of our programs, both local and nationwide, rely on the support of our generous supporters. Engage your colleagues in a workplace giving campaign, and double their impact with matching contributions.
Provide Opportunities for Scholars
We’re committed to working with companies who provide opportunities for our scholars from underrepresented and non-traditional backgrounds, from developing apprenticeship programs from the ground-up to identifying qualified candidates for open positions. Our experience with small- to large-sized firms give us the insight and flexibility to meet your specific needs.
Why Companies Work With Us?
The Department of Labor estimates that by 2020, there’ll be 1 million unfilled tech jobs. At #YesWeCode, we’re exposing young minds to the wonders of coding and training the next generation of diverse and non-traditional tech talent and leaders to help fill that gap. We need your support to help us reach our goal of reaching 100,000 young men and women from underrepresented communities.
We’re working across the country. Whether you’re looking to grow your startup or recruit the best talent for your team, #YesWeCode has scholars located across the country. We’ll work with you to identify and recruit top talents to work at your organization through our growing alumni network.
Diversity and Inclusion
Diversity and inclusion is a core of #YesWeCode’s mission and operating principles. We help companies look internally to improve D&I practices, whether it’s removing unconscious biases in the recruitment process or developing new practices and procedures to retain the best talent. We understand that your organization is unique, and we’re here to help find the right solution for you and your employees.
